I’ve been doing theater my entire life, but I want to be a much more flexible actor; I want to start crossing over into film, but it’s a very frightening process. I do know that on the theater, things are supposed to be much bigger than they are in a film, which is why I know that I have big adjustments to make if I want to make the transition. I think that if I look up “acting coach Los Angeles” then I can find somebody who can coach me into making new choices for film and adapting my old theater techniques and choices for this new medium. I think that there is far more film out in Los Angeles than there is in New York, and that there’s also just generally more film opportunities than theater opportunities. I’m not opposed to trying new things, and it’s going to open up my ability to work, so why not?
